| I'm just owndering if anyone is using any of thsoe insdie mounted anteennas becuase i have one and it sucks balls. It was probably thre worst $60 the previous owner put into the car. This is the one.

Maybe that's the reason? Does anyone have a good working amplified antennea or know any good solution other than the stock retractable one? Mine isnt compatible with my cd player. Iv'e searched and searched. It jsut seems that about half the poeple say that amplified are good and the other half say it's a waste of money. I ordered one of those Metra 44-UA200 which is a windshiled mounted one liek the one i currently have to see fi it's the same problem. Outside of Chicago.....liek 1 hour out of the City, onyl 2 FM stations work. Inside the actual city none of the stations work. Not even B96, Kiss FM, and Q101 which are 3 of the some very popular ones. I also tried near a radio tower and still shiddy signal. I was wondering. Does anyone use one of thsoe shark fin antennas on the roof like the Bimmers have it? Is that any good.
